James Sheehy

A proud Kerryman, James' formative years were shaped following Sergio Garcia at the Irish Open in Ballybunion, shortly afterwards, he began caddying on the same vaunted links.

As the golf bug bit, each summer was spent on the links, however, it still took a few more years for a true appreciation of golf to emerge.

An inquisitive soul, James' thirst for the how and why soon turned to how best plot his way around the majestic Old Course at Ballybunion. It was here that the subtle nuances of the game were initially explored, he has not looked back since!

James has been priviliged to play some of the finest courses in the United States and as a result of these opportunities a sense of stewardship has been absorbed through his golfing experiences. Golf is a game that James will be eternally grateful for what it has, thus far, provided him.

James is the founder of The Caddy Guy, Ireland's first golf apparel company to use bamboo as it's main constituent.
