Philip Truett is one of the doyens of golf history in the UK, a collector of books, an archivist and a compiler of some distinction. His current (and growing) library of antiquarian books numbers in the region of 5000 and the walls of his Walton-on-the-Hill property are adorned with book shelves to house them all.
Philip has been a member at Walton Heath Golf Club for the past 60 years and is an expert on the life and times of William Herbert Fowler. He co-authored the 2021 biography of Fowler, entitled, a Matter of Course.
