Michael Morrison is a golf writer and researcher who has written a number of fascinating books charting the histories of both specific golf clubs such as Royal Worlington & Newmarket and indeed whole epoch's such as his most recent endeavour The Great English Golf Boom.
A Scot by birth, Morrison has lived in Cambridge for the last 40 years. An old injury sustained many years ago necessitated some time away from the fairways at his home course Gog Magog in Cambridge, not wanting to let the grass grown under his feet, Mike inquired about assisting in catalouging and disciphering the archive at Gogs. The rest as they say is history.
Mike is currently working on two new golf history books covering Hunstanton Golf Club's long history and the history of the Senior Golfing Society whos members have been and are a vertitable whos who of the great and good of UK golf
