Michael Goldstein was a hockey playing lawyer who had a brain wave back in 2009. While on an end of season hockey excursion to the Tom Doak designed Cape Kidneppers Golf Course in the Hawkes Bay, he floated an idea past his mate Jamie Patton - the idea was to play golf every day for 365 consecutive days while travelling around the world.
Initially his overtures were laughed at, however, slowly a plan fell into place and on 1st of January 2010 PureGolf2010 started at Cape Kidnappers - the adventure would bring Michael and Jamie through NZ, Australia (twice), USA, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, UAE and back home to NZ.
The PureGolf2010 story of a compelling extended golfing road trip, raising money for the FIrst Te of New Zealand, featuring a supporting cast of the worldwide golfing fraternity who opened their arms, houses, fridges and wallets in equal measure.
Michael Goldstein has been a guest on 1 episode.
