Graeme Beatt

Graeme Beatt is originally from the auld grey toon of St Andrews and currently holds the position of Course Manager at Royal Portrush Golf Club on the Causeway Coast of Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland.

His adventures in greenkeeping began at his home club of Scotscraig in 1995 and would extend over time to encompass Kingsbarns and Royal Melbourne, Castle Dargan and County Sligo (both as superintendent) before he replaced Joe Findlay as Course Manager at Royal Portrush in late 2014.

Since 2014 Graeme and his team at RP have been centrally involved in a significant redevelopment of the Dunluce & Valley courses in advance of the 148th staging of the Open Championships, which returned to Portrush after a hiatus of 68 years. The club will next host the event in 2025.
